Is it normal to feel numbness after a black eye?

So I was playing around with my sister over the weekend and she accidentally ninja kicked me on my right eye. It swelled up really fast but since Sunday I have been icing it and even bought some Arnica gel to help with the swelling. Today I have switched to a warm cloth but it still looks pretty awful. The pupil is bloody red and I'm spitting a tiny bit of blood, just once awhile. My right lip and teeth feel like I just got back from the dentist. Nothing hurts and I can see just fine, it's just feels pretty uncomfortable. I have a doctor's appointment tomorrow, I just want to make sure it's nothing serious...I hate waiting. Any advice? Please help! Thanks!
