That part of your foot has the most fragile bones in your body. I had to quit soccer because I repeatedly injured my ankle and ... my foot. I'd apply ice and if it's swollen big time and stays like that for a couple of hours go get a scan ASAP. Get well soon ;-)

Hello I recent have encountered a major out break of cold sores all over my face and been given flucloxacillin 500mg caps (4x a day) and Aciclovir 200mg (5x a day) I was wondering if me taking my arnica Montana 30c tablets for my swollen nose would stop the flucloxacollin and Aciclovir from working. Im also applying the zovirax cream to the effected areas. I would ask my gp for advice but the clinic is closed till Monday and I have a important date on Monday and need these cold sores gone. Is my cats leg paralyzed?

My cat got hit by a car three weeks ago. I took him to the vet right after he got hit and the vet said over the phone he had a dislocated hip. Then, when I went to pick him up, the vet said he had taken x-rays and that my cat had a broken pelvis. He told me that it would be about six weeks before he was completely healed and gave me a bottle of Arnica. My cat seems to be alot better now, except that he doesn't use his left leg at all. Rectus femoris injury, not healing, any ideas?

I've had this injury for about seven months, my old doctor said it was the ITB/TFL, but I got an MRI and it said there was tendiopathy in the Rectus femoris. Non-toxic waterproof varnish for paper jewelry?

Where can I go to find a waterproof non toxic varnish or eposy resin for my paper beads and jewelry? I'm new to making paper beads and I want to make a paper bead necklace for my mom on Valentine's day, but I'm not sure what kind of varnish or resin I should use and that's safe to use inside. I'm guessing I'll have to use gloves and a mask when I glaze the paper so I have that and a paint brush. I want the jewelry to be waterproof where she can take a shower with it or something like that but I also need a varnish that won't yellow overtime. I've heard of using yacht varnish but I also heard that yellows and I'll need a special kind of brush cleaner to remove the varnish. I have Modge Podge for the glue. I'm also going to get liquitex gel medium or golden gel medium for a glaze but I don't know where to find non-toxic, acid free glaze. I also heard of using UTEE melted embossing powder but I don't know if I'll have to use a special heating pot for that or not. Which is better for waterproofing paper jewelry: Epoxy Resin, Clear varnish, UTEE embossing powder, or a gel medium?

take a spray bottle with water and salt and dampen your hair.. don't soak it. apply some setting lotion or mousse. volumising lotion too if you have thin hair. i think pantene has the best mousse. it's lightweight and not flaky.. anyways while you hair is still damp braid your hair in medium plaits.. the smaller the plait the tighter the wave. do your whole head OR you can make small buns on your whole head and secure them tightly with bobby pins while your hair is still damp... for both the braid or buns, blow on high to set and when you take out your hair run your fingers through the waves and spray with hairspray.

It's going to keep hurting if you don't get the root canal and you can very well end up losing the tooth. A temporary filling is only meant for a few weeks or months at most until you can get in for a root canal and they get the crown made. This is really sad that in the USA people spend thousands to get their children cosmetic braces then there are other kids like you who need medical care and can't afford it. the vet i work for(i work in his kennels) uses homeopathic medicine to treat everything but i'm not sure how i feel about it. When he does surgery he uses arnica which he says doesn't stop pain, just swelling and inflammation. and if a pet has any other medical condition he used other homeopathics which i have seen work well and not work at all. i was wondering if you think i should take my own pets to him or choose another vet that uses traditional medicines.

2 weeks ago, my bike tire got caught in a street car track and I went down hard landing on my left arm. I went into ER the next day , they xrayed my radial and ulnar bones but not the humerus. Burning sinus pain help! (Sorry its kinda gross)?

Since Sunday ive had everything under the sun! My voice has been gone since...still havent gotten it back. It started out as the flu virus going around. Watch for signs of any pus, odor, increase redness around the area, swelling and increase in warmth. But other than that you should be ok.

hello! there's a few things you can do. if there's an open sore on her paw dip it in honey, honey has awesome healing properties that works wonders on my rats and it's safe if they lick at it. if it's just swallen looking alternate warm compressions with cool compressions every 2-3 hours for 15 mins at a time since your baby doesn't like being held much wrap her in a towel before you do it to keep her from escaping. another thing you can do if she's acting like she's stil in pain even if not squeaking (remember Bruxing is also a sign of discomfort) give her a dose of infant tylenol (1/2 way up to the very first line on the dropper) you can give this to her every 6-8 hours. honestly though it's going to take about 4 days till she puts any pressure on her paw and a total of a week till she's walking normally. honestly you should have no reason to go to the vet. just keep her in a small cage so she doesn't have to move around to much for her food and water, give her tons of rags and soft fabrics/bedding for her to snuggle into and give her 3 rounds of free play a day for a max of 15 mins just to encourage her to stretch her injured paw and attempt to use it or just let her camp out on your lap for a nice 45 mins to an hour at a time.

Wrist pain after childbirth?

Hi, this is the first time I use this and I want to share with you a remedy with wrist pain (tendinitis) after child birth but I am not sure how to do it so I put it in the questions. Sorry for this. I gave birth with emergency cesarian 6 weeks ago. During the first 4 weeks after birth I was given the drug "dicoflenac" which is safe during breastfeeding as I am breastfeeding 100% my little girl. When I got off it I started having the wrist pain that had started in the last month of pregnancy. What is working for me and is totally safe for breastfeeding is putting a dicoflenac based cream (voltarol) on my wrist morning and afternoon and taking a dicoflenac pill in the evening time. This was prescribred by my doctor. If pain is too intense my doc suggests 3 pills a day and no cream but it is working like this for me at the moment. Before going to the doctor I had tried my own remedy and was putting arnica gel on the affected area. As it is a herbal remedy I was applying it at least 4 times a day but it seems it started to work. However, I am not sure it is safe during pregnancy so I can not reccommend it.
