Major Perm problem! Please Help?

So yesterday I got a spiral perm. It looked great till today. Now it is just wavy. I still like but now It's getting puffy I scrunched it up and added some gel and tried to finger comb it. Now it really hurts when I try to comb it. its puffy and hard to style. Should I wash it or wait the extra day?? I need help quick....... please answer!!
