Homeopathic medicine for pets?

the vet i work for(i work in his kennels) uses homeopathic medicine to treat everything but i'm not sure how i feel about it. When he does surgery he uses arnica which he says doesn't stop pain, just swelling and inflammation. and if a pet has any other medical condition he used other homeopathics which i have seen work well and not work at all. i was wondering if you think i should take my own pets to him or choose another vet that uses traditional medicines.
